Adam Katz Sinding, formerly known as “Le 21ème”, is an American-born, Copenhagen-based photographer. An original innovator in the realm of street-style & backstage photography since 2007, Adam spends the majority of the year documenting the zeitgeist of the contemporary fashion industry on a global level. When he is not photographing fashion in all corners of the world, he spends his time shooting major campaigns and editorials, giving lectures, and embarking on transcontinental cycling trips.

Adam published his first book in February of 2018. This Is Not A F*cking Street Style Book (Mendo/TeNeues), a monograph of sorts, is an astute collection of his work showcasing present-day’s major fashion events, top brands, and tastemakers through his own lens, with a foreword by Virgil Abloh. In June of 2019, Adam published his second book: Live From F*cking Everywhere chronicles his travels, setting aside fashion and focusing on the wonders our world has to offer, this time with a foreword by Errolson Hugh.

In September of 2023, Adam launched a new projected titled simply:  “Context”.  Context is a personal project which attempts to revitalize the human-aspect of his work.  Intimate portrait stories are supplemented by storytelling, written by the author.  “Context” is NOT content.
